Committed to advancing the standards of conservation of cultural heritage in India, the Leon Levy Foundation and Mehrangarh Museum Trust (MMT) have been working together for more than a decade on several conservation projects and training programmes. With generous funding from the Leon Levy Foundation, Mehrangarh Museum Trust is conducting a series of four-week conservation programmes at Mehrangarh Fort, Jodhpur, and Ahhichatragarh Fort, Nagaur. The programme is intended for professionals working in the field of conservation of tangible cultural heritage in India and focuses on various aspects related to conservation such as documentation, museum imaging, technical imaging, and photogrammetry.

The initial programme was offered in November–December 2022, and the 2026 programme will be held from 4 January to 1 February 2026. Participants will be selected through applications, followed by online interviews. There is no fee for the programme, and boarding will be provided by the Mehrangarh Museum Trust.
Our review process for applications to the Leon Levy Foundation Documentation and Imaging Programme 2026 is now complete, and shortlisted applicants have been invited for interviews. Applicants who have not received an email from us regarding an interview may kindly assume that they have not been shortlisted on this occasion. We regret that we are unable to provide individual feedback on unsuccessful applications.
